G-Cloud is a framework on the Government Digital Marketplace and gives Central Government, Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, and other public-sector organisations a way to purchase cloud-based services. Originally introduced in 2012, G-Cloud was created with the aim of moving 50% of all Government IT spending to cloud-based services.
