Flexibility Works

Quorum’s Managing Director, Andrew Watson is delighted to join the trustee board of Flexibility Works, a new social business from two of Scotland’s leading experts in Flexible Working – Nikki Slowey and Lisa Gallagher.

The social business will help organisations improve all aspects of flexible working – supporting employers of all sizes and in all sectors to reap the benefits that flexible working brings for businesses as well as individuals. However, due to the current situation, its first major project is specifically supporting businesses coping with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nikki Slowey, Director and Co-Founder at Flexibility Works, said: “The demand for flexible working is growing rapidly and organisations that have created a flexible working culture are seeing the benefits. Flexible working also has a key role to play in tackling a number of societal issues such as poverty, wellbeing and inequality.

Yet we know some organisations struggle to put great flexible working into practice. That’s why we’ve launched Flexibility Works so more people and more employers in Scotland can benefit from flexible working.

Quorum have a great history of working with Nikki and Lisa to promote fair and flexible working practices to other companies. As an IT company we are also able to support businesses in adopting the right technologies to enable flexible working and have been working with companies during the COVID-19 crisis to quickly and securely make the move to working from home.
