Quorum was founded in 1999 by directors Charles Scott and Andrew Watson. Both working in the IT training industry at the time, the company was created in response to frustration experienced with other companies’ lack of a ‘holistic’ approach; Charles and Andrew wanted to provide a superior service that would fulfil a client’s project requirements from inception to completion.
Initially providing consultancy services based around network systems, the company has steadily grown and now includes full Consultancy, Infrastructure, Development and Project Management teams. Recent company developments have also included the addition of Managed Services products and a 24 hour support facility.
Quorum has been a Microsoft Partner since first beginning in 1999, achieving Gold Partner status in 2003 – one of a select group of UK and Scottish companies to be awarded this level of partnership – a status which confirms the level of technical, business and software expertise possessed by the company. We are Microsoft-recognised specialists in advanced infrastructure, security solutions and custom development and, as members of Microsoft’s Technology Adoption Programme, work closely with Microsoft in the development of new software and technologies such as Windows 2008, Speech Server and Office Communications Server.
